Kennedy HS - Under the Double Eagle - 2009 Placentia Band Review

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 10, 2009. The 45th annual Heritage Festival and Parade will be underway at Tri-City Park. A great parade is planned with many top award winning bands, a multiple award winning roper and horseman, plus marchers from various groups in our city. The festivities in the park will feature the 23rd annual car show for all car buffs. There will be over 30 crafters to offer plenty of good shopping. The Placentia Chamber of Commerce will have local businesses displaying their wares and raffling prizes. For the kids, a great game area with clowns, balloon animals, face painting, and inflatables to slide down and climb on….even a rock wall.

The pancake breakfast will start at 7:00 a.m. and festival food booths will offer many treats from BBQ to tacos and desserts. We are now accepting applications for food and craft vendors and for non-profit display. Please contact a Heritage Committee representative at (714) 524-8535 or the City of Placentia at (714) 993-8232.
