Arcadia Maps & Directions

We hope to see all Shamrock Regiment parents, boosters & friends in Arcadia.  The maps & directions you will find below were written by parents who have attended this event in the past.  Everything is subject to change, but what you find here is based on several years' experience.  The Arcadia Band Review and Field Show are considered the premier and final events of the marching season.  Some have even titled this event "The 6A Championships."  Here is where we get to show off all the hard work we have done all season.  Hope to see you there!

You will soon see the shopping center (used to be Santa Anita Fashion Park, now they are calling it Westfield Shoppingtown Santa Anita) on your left.  If parking in the mall, you will want to park as far south as you can.  The bands are going to be forming up in the race track parking lot just to the east of the mall parking lot.  The two parking lots are separated by a fence.  To get from one parking lot to the other you need to use the sidewalk on the north side of Huntington Drive.  Parking at the mall is a good idea because you will be as near as possible to where the band is preparing for the parade, you will be right there at the beginning of the parade and this is where the band is coming back after the parade.  The only thing is, if you follow the band through the parade, you may have to walk several blocks back here from the end of the parade.

When the band moves out, they will move to the southwest corner of the race track parking lot and then go out onto Huntington Drive near La Cadena Avenue.  They will proceed west along the center of the street next to the grassy median with traffic moving next to them on the right.  They will stop and wait for the light at Huntington and Baldwin and when directed to cross they will proceed south on Baldwin.  This is where the parade begins.

The parade will proceed south on Baldwin then east on Duarte Road.  At the end of the parade, the band will continue on to the busses.  In the past, the busses have been somewhere between Lovell, Leroy, Holly and Camino Real Avenues.  Unless you came with the band on the bus, you will need to walk back to your vehicle.  You might want to plan ahead and park somewhere in this area before the parade and walk back to where the band is forming up before the parade begins.  Just be aware that some of these streets may be blocked off and you may need to park south of Camino Real or east of Holly.

After the parade, the busses take the band back to the mall where they have time for lunch and to relax.

After that, they will meet back at the busses which will then take them to Mark Keppel High School for rehearsal.
