Take 605 North and the 210 West.  Exit on Baldwin (comes after Santa Anita).  At the end of the offramp, you will be at Foothill Blvd.  To take Baldwin Ave. South, you will need to turn right on Foothill, and then about a block later turn right on Baldwin.

 

 

You will soon see the shopping center (used to be Santa Anita Fashion Park, now they may be calling it Westfield) on your left.  If parking in the mall, you will want to park as far south as you can.  The Bands are going to be forming up in the racetrack parking lot just to the east of the mall parking lot.  The two parking lots are separated by a fence and I think the gates are locked.  To get from one parking lot to the other you need to use the sidewalk on the north side of Huntington Drive.

 

 

When the band moves out, they will move to the southwest corner of the race track parking lot and then go out onto Huntington Drive near La Cadena Avenue.  They will proceed west along the center of the street next to the grassy median with traffic moving next to them on the right.  They will stop and wait for the light at Huntington and Baldwin and when directed to cross they will proceed south on Baldwin.  This is where the parade begins.

 

 

The parade will proceed south on Baldwin then east on Duarte Road and south on Lovell Ave.  I believe that the busses will be picking up the band on one of the streets between Norman, Lovell,  LeRoy and Holly.  When we arrive, we try to park somewhere near the end of the parade and then we walk up to where the band is forming in the Race Track parking lot.  It seems like usually they have the streets where the busses are going to pick up the kids blocked off and we end up parking just west of Baldwin on Sharon or one of the streets around there.

 

After the parade, they are going to take the kids back to the mall for some free time.  After that, they will meet back at the busses which will then take them to Gladstone High School in Covina for a practice session. 

 

Here are the instructions as to how to get from the mall to Gladstone High School:

 

 

  1. Go north on Baldwin.
  2. Bear Rightto take I-210 EAST towards SAN BERNARDINO - go 9.5 mi
  3. Take the AZUSA AVE/CA-39 exit towards AZUSA - go 0.3 mi
  4. Turn Righton S AZUSA AVE - go 0.3 mi
  5. Continue on S AZUSA AVE - go 0.4 mi
  6. Turn Righton E ARROW HWY/W ARROW HWY - go 0.4 mi
  7. Turn Lefton N ENID AVE - go 0.2 mi
  8. Arrive at 1340 N ENID AVE, COVINA

 

 

 

 

 

After practice, the kids will get back into the busses and will proceed to Citrus College, site of the Field Show:

 

 

  1. Go north on Enid Ave.
  2. Turn Righton E ARROW HWY/W ARROW HWY - go 1.4 mi
  3. Turn Lefton S CITRUS AVE - go 1.8 mi

 

The entrance to the Citrus College parking lot is on Citrus Avenue directly across from where Foothill Blvd. Ends.  Parking for spectators is available in the section next to Citrus, the busses get the eastern portion of the parking lot (closer to the stadium).

 

 

 

If for some reason, you travel directly from Arcadia to Citrus College instead of stopping at Gladstone High School, here are the directions:
